These guys are commonly called candy stripe pistol shrimp for obvious reasons. They stay way smaller than tiger pistol shrimp, and tend to bond pretty quickly with most prawn gobies. The snap of their claw is surprisingly loud for such a small creature. Pistol shrimp won't venture very far beyond the opening of their burrow, they prefer to tend to the burrow while their goby hunts for food.
