Lionfish are beautiful and hardy, but their venomous fins have a pretty nasty sting. Soak a sting in hot water to prevent the venom from spreading and call your doctor if you're sensitive to stings in general. You may need to feed live foods until you can train your lion onto prepared foods. Lionfish generally don't bother coral, but they'll hunt down your clean up crew and/or small fish.
